Spilled milk.
I just wanna vent out my frustrations now. So, just so you know, I’m not a fan of 2pm and it was just a few days ago when I got to watch their Hands Up MV. And FFFFFF! After watching the video, my heart just broke.
Past.
So here’s the story, and it all started last May. When I purchased my tickets for my Singapore birthday trip, I told myself to finish watching Dream High before my flight. Yes. I did what I said. I finished it days before my scheduled trip. I got hooked. Yes. I really liked Dream High and I was really rooting for Taecyeon to end up with Suzy. So, imagine how I liked Taec back then.
My Singapore trip came… on my afternoon-night in Singapore, I asked my mom and brother if we could visit the Marina Bay Sands Sky Park before heading to Orchard Rd. They agreed. We went there but unfortunately, THE SKYPARK WAS CLOSED. It wasn’t for renovation/maintenance stuffs, it was closed for some private “event or whatever you call that”. We just went to Orchard Rd. Night came, my brother went to Clarke Quay with his friends to drink. Me and mom strolled along Orchard Rd.
Morning came… my brother asked me…
“Do you know who this Taecyeon is?”
And I’m like, “Yes!Yes!Yes! He’s an artist from Korea, remembered the last drama I watched in your room? He’s one of the main characters there.”
“Oh. Is he that famous?”
“Yeah, I think so. He’s a part of a kpop group too. Why are you asking me these things?”
“Oh! Yeah! I just wanted to tell you I saw him last night at Clarke Quay.”
“Shut up! Don’t kid!”
“I’m not. He was even in a white limo. Cool right? Well, you said he’s famous. Maybe that’s why there were a lot of girls that wanted to go near him last night.”
“NOOOOOO! I have a photo of him on my phone. Look!”
“Ha! I’m right! That’s him. I really saw him.”
“You didn’t took a photo with him?”
“No. Why would I? I don’t even know him. And I’m not gay.”
“Yeah right.”
End of convo.
I was so heartbroken that I almost cried in the van on my way to airport. I even tweeted Taec and asked him if he was in SG but I didn’t get a reply.lol.
When I watched the Hand’s Up MV, I noticed that some of the backgrounds were from SG. I did a little research. Based on the MV, one scene was shot at MBS. (Which makes me think that they may be the reason SkyPark was closed or maybe not.) Based on the FanCams, TAECYEON really went to Clarke Quay. And take note… the date… 23 MAY 2011… the same night my brother went… my birthday.
My brother was definitely not lying. I was in Singapore when 2pm filmed the MV. I was there, I was just a few streets away from them. So close yet so far. and imagine, my brother, my brother who doesn’t even care about kpop or any artists saw him, of all people… </3
I know its no use to cry over spilled milk. But yeah, I just wanna let this all out. After all, even if I didn’t get to see Taec during my birthday, God gave Mario Maurer’s beautiful birthday gift. (Thanks D!)
