Fangirling or not, I do not accept people who is all smiley and goodie goodie when with me but then goes around being a devilita when I turn my back. YOU DON’T DO THAT TO ME! I TRIED TO UNDERSTAND YOU AND EVEN DEFENDED YOU! BUT NOW IT’S TOO MUCH! TOO FREAKING MUCH! They say you are who you think and you are what you eat… but YOU ARE WHO YOU SHIP. They say we deserve the leaders we vote, so maybe we also deserve the idols we ship right? But in your case, you don’t. You don’t deserve both artists, they are both good and kind-hearted, you obviously don’t deserve them. They say your fans reflect who you are, now I pity the two of them for having fans like you. I don’t even care if your ship will be together at the end, all I know is that atleast even from the start, I haven’t been a two-faced monster spying, polluting and backbiting other fandoms. Respect, before you get that, you gotta learn that.

So, there are news article about the dating rumor again but now, its worse.

“We were really close friends until the scandal rumors, and it became unnecessarily awkward.”

That is such a bold statement, that I felt uncomfortable after reading. Mixed emotions maybe? Bias aside, I think one shipper’s greatest wish is for their OTP to continue being friends even though they are not together. Right? Okay. I’ll stop here. I want to talk about the things that I realized after this rumor.

I’ve always believed that my OTP’s greatest is the gift of friendship. And I really thank them for that. They started out as awkward and totally opposite pair, but they have grown to be a beautiful pair of friends along with their unnies and dongsaengs even to their company members. Oh how beautiful the friendship that they have is. And for all we know, this is not just to please the fans or for publicity. They don’t need it, what we see from these group of friends is what we get, or even more. If it wasn’t for that one cold awkward meeting… we won’t have this burning friendship we see today.

That’s the shipper’s greatest wish right? I’m just happy that after 3 long years, we have CNSD and SMFNC. YS might not happen (BUT I DO HOPE THEY DO!), but at least they have each other as friends. WGM for YS has ended years ago, and there’s almost no reason to act on stage just to please the fans, but look at them now? Where did all the awkwardness go?

The gogumas might be a pretty-well-known-super-active-shipping-fandom, but they (Y&S) are not obliged to please us. We are a pretty active fandom, we are there wherever and whenever and if it really bugs/hurts/intimidates Y&S, they could’ve done something or plead to us stop whatever it is that we’re doing that might have hurt them or what.

They know better, if they’re friends, they’re friends, if they’re dating, they’re dating, if they’re not, they’re not. Y&S have already matured, especially in this indefinite and sometimes cruel entertainment industry. They respect the fans, they know that they can’t help if you support them with another person, but if it’s enough, it’s enough. All they need is respect and a sound and peaceful private life. The friends that they have now are a big part of them, especially their true industry friends since they can relate to each other really well. It is rare for idols to meet real good friends in the industry, and you don’t want them to lose friends right? Right.

All I’m saying is, non-shipper, other-ship-shipper, or what, the important thing here is respect. No one wants to be called a big-fat-liar by his/her own fans right?

/The gogumas are celebrating the 1000 Days of YONGSEO, and hopefully Yong and Hyun are celebrating too! Haha~ The twitter world was filled with Yongseo-memories and dedication tweets last night and I was teary-eyed reminiscing with my fellow gogumas. Who would’ve thought that it has already been 1000days since fate brought Seohyun and Yonghwa together. Two people, though they’re in the same industry, they belong to two different worlds. One is the precious maknae of the nation’s girl group, and the other one is the leader of a rookie band who wants to let the whole world listen to their music. One is the prim and proper girl, and the other one is the humorous and ambitious (in a good way) boy.

While a lot of their respective fans strongly disagreed to MBC’s decision of pairing the two of them together, they pushed through with their virtual marriage. Yes, they were awkward, they fought, they lacked skinship, and eventually had to part ways and end their virtual marriage.

But their virtual marriage left us a lot of lessons, beautiful memories, and a song. Lessons that we can apply in our lives, beautiful memories that can always keep us smile and fall in love all over again, and a song that will forever be a sweet melody to our ears and hearts.

I’ve always been vocal about thanking both Yong and Hyun before, but today, on their 1000th day, I want to thank them for what I think is the greatest gift that they’ve given us… THE GIFT OF FRIENDSHIP.

You might want to ask me why, but I’m pretty sure that the gogumas already know the reason why I chose friendship.

Those 51 episodes of YongSeo <3  gave us a glimpse of the birth of friendship between to groups, CNBLUE and SNSD. SNSD’s the really popular senior girl group while CNBLUE’s the rising junior boy band. We saw how their friendship started and bloomed. The friendship between FNC and SM artists, and we all the friendship between idols who are from different agencies.

And we all know that this is not a “for-publicity-purposes” only, we all saw how Sunny, Hyo, Jungshin, and Yonghwa interacted on a variety show, how Yoona just randomly shouts “I miss you Yong seobang”, and even Wookie and Minmin’s tease during the Hey You and Twinkle promotions, and a whole lot more.

That’s not all though, aside from the friendship of these idols, I’m also thankful for the friendship between the gogumas.

Thanks to YONGSEO, they inspired a lot of people, and brought them together. Gogumas from all over the world, are united and became friends. I am a witness to this, a lot of gogumas became really good friends even if they live in different countries and continents and even if they speak different languages. There are a lot of different fan clubs and fan cafes, but one thing is for sure, we all belong in Go-chun.

Go-chun feels like belonging to real family, because we really are. We are one big and great family, and we are always here for each other. We share this bond that most people can’t understand- it’s the GOGUMA LOVE.

And this is what I pray, that for the next 1000 days, the friendship between the idols and between the gogumas will never die and will continue to grow stronger.

HAPPY 1000 days YongSeo! We promise that even if its 5000days, 10000 days, you will still be in our hearts. Cheers!

SUDDENLY IT’S MAGIC. 

So I just watched my most awaited Filipino romantic-comedy film earlier, and I must say, I GOT WAY TOO EMOTIONAL! Everyone knows that I’m a die-hard fan of Mario Maurer and it’s just normal to get excited by this movie, but NO, its not just I want to see him in the big screen… its more than that. So let’s break it down:

1.     MARIO. MOVIE. FILIPINO.

Isn’t it awesome? A Thai superstar having a project in your own country and is being screened at local cinemas?

Plus that proud feeling that the Mario you have loved before is now being recognized by other people?

That smirk I give when my seatmates in the cinema everytime they scream at how gorgeous Mario Maurer is.

When they wished that they have met MM, and hold his hands, and all I could do was just sigh in relief because I was lucky to meet him last year.

Everything is just so surreal.

2. ROMANCE. ENVY. NOT.

My friends are expecting me to be jealous of Erich; my mom was even teasing me inside the cinema, but the thing is: I’M NOT JEALOUS OF HER. Don’t ask me why, I don’t know either. Yes, I love MM so much but I don’t envy the girls he’s working with. Maybe because I always remind myself that those girls and I are not on the same level. They are Mario’s co-workers and friends, and I’m just a fan, admiring him from afar. I’m jealous of my co-fans who always get to meet MM in MNL but I was never jealous of Mario’s co-workers.lol

3.     MARIO. PERSONAL. WORK.

w   We all saw a very sweet, caring and hard-working Marcus in the movie, and that is Mario in real life. I may not have known him in person, but as a fan for years, I can say that the Marcus that Mario portrayed in SIM is close to his real personality. Mario is genuinely a kind person, he loves his family and friends so much, not to mention his girlfriend, and he is very hard working. He’s such a dedicated actor that he really puts an extra effort to get into character. His love and care for his fan is genuine, not just for publicity or what. He stays true to himself, he doesn’t want to hide things from his fans, and that’s why we like him.

4.     MARIO. BOYFRIEND.

i I see Gubgib in Joey (Erich’s character), and that’s why I get emotional while watching the movie. Gubgib is Mario’s dearest girlfriend, and childhood friend. I suddenly got jealous of Gubgib, imagine, all those hugs, kisses, and other romantic stuffs are for her… THE REAL ONES HA! If you’ve followed both GG and MM, you’d witness hot they really love each other, romantic dates & overseas trips, or even just a simple get together dinner, or exchange of tweets/texts, GG waiting for MM in the airport, making sure they meet even just for a few minutes, the no-fail facetimes while they are on individual trips overseas, the sweet little things, MM’s boxes of dried mangoes for GG, and the list goes on. What we saw in the movie is not really impossible. From what I’ve read before, there were a lot of people who didn’t like GG for MM, but I have to say, I have a lot of respect for her. She was with MM even before we loved him as P’Shone, she was MM’s friend eventhough he still didn’t have that prince charming vibe on him, when he still wore thick glasses and had pimples, when he was still into skateboarding, and hiphop, she was there. She never left his side. And that’s why I finally got to accept the fact that Mario really loves her.

5.     SUDDENLY IT’S MAGIC. PERSONAL. ATTACHMENTS.

bBut the main reason why I got so emotional while watching the movie is that this movie is so close to my heart since it’s the only movie that I followed from the casting-storycons-shooting-promotions-premiere-so on. I can’t even believe that we waited for a year for this movie! From the mystery guy: Asian Superstar tweet from Ms. Joyce, to the Erich or Kim, to the where should we shoot this: what province?, to the shooting last summer, to the promotions, and finally the premiere. It’s just so overwhelming that after a year of waiting, eventhough it’s a predictable plot, you’re still so excited-you-can’t-sleep-and-when-you-watch-you-still-cant-sleep-because-you-want-to-watch-again!!!!!

Have you ever loved a live performance so much that everytime you watch it, you start to tear up and the all the feelings seem so fresh? That even if you watch it almost everyday or listen to its mp3 version, you’re still not getting tired of it?

I DID. Yes, and that performance is Yongseo’s Banmal Song performance in Niigata.

Today marks the performance’s 1^st anniversary. And you all know that I seriously have a deep connection with this performance.

People may find it weird that me (and the whole Go-chun) is celebrating an anniversary for a mere performance BUT, this is not and ordinary performance.

First,

you wouldn’t just witness a collaboration between two huge and popular idols from different companies, right? And do I have to mention that they are SNSD’s Seohyun and CNBLUE’s Yonghwa? Do I? I know you already got my point.

Second,

it was a reunion for two love birds. They were once a virtual couple and a reunion opportunity like this is rare. For their fans who followed their career before, during, and after WGM, this was a rare moment that they just have to savor every bit of it.

Last but not the least, 

THEY PERFORMED BANMAL SONG FOR PETE’S SAKE!

HOW AWESOME IS THAT FOR YONGHWA THAT THE SONG HE WROTE FOR MONTHS WAS FINALLY PRODUCED, AND HE GETS TO PERFORM IT IN FRONT OF THOUSANDS OF FANS AND…

PERFORM IT WITH SEOHYUN…

THE GIRL WHO MADE BANMAL SONG/FOR THE FIRST TIME LOVERS POSSIBLE…

To my fellow gogumas, happy anniversary!

I was stuck in the traffic earlier while heading to LKKC. And while on the taxi… I started to stare outside. As usual, what do you see during a traffic jam? CARS of course. But, it’s a wide variety of cars, from high-end SUVs to the sikad-sikads… they’re stuck in the traffic.

Then I started to realize, life is just like this traffic jam I’m caught in. It doesn’t matter if you’re rich and driving your own SUV, or someone who drives the motorela… all of us have to go through the same traffic jam…on the same street.

Just like life… rich or poor, we are all living in the same planet, and all of us have to go through this thing we call life. All of us have to undergo different pains and hardships just to get to our destination.

I guess almost everyone now are aware of the heavy rains and floods in Manila, right?

So earlier, I saw a tweet in my timeline that says… (paraphrased) MAYNTAG MAG-ULAN SAD SA CDO UY KAY IGANG KAAYO! (I hope it rains in CDO too because it’s so hot!).

I was so pissed with this because I thought it was too insensitive for him/her to tweet that.

I know it’s not wrong for us to wish for rain because we need an adequate amount of rain too but WTH, I am from CDO and the ‘hotness’ was still bearable.

Plus, RAIN is such a sensitive issue now because many of our brothers and sisters in Luzon are suffering from floods due to these heavy rains.

I mean, seriously. Have you ever thought about the people that will be affected? Your concern was just too selfish of you. What about the students, they will be wet traveling to and from their schools… the drivers… the street vendors… they are working hard… but if it rains… it can still affect not just their jobs but also their health. What about the people that are still in the evacuation areas because of bagyong Sendong? Those kids that are still traumatized? Did they ever cross your mind?

You are lucky that you don’t have to work… you’re lucky that you have a safe shelter… you are lucky.
